How to connect Neumann U87 and Avalon VT737 to Protools

Instructor connects U87 microphone and avalon vt737 to protools multicore processor
Video Rating: 5 / 5

This is a short video I made that helped me solve a lot of problems. It explains how to optimize programs performance and FPS when you are running on a multicore processor. This will only work on programs that dont support multicores. Music by: ParagonX9 – download able on newgrounds.com

  16. thedancinzerg says:

I want to find this 32 core processor that the windows XP affinity list comes up with… that would be some intense computing…

  17. ImYourTurkey says:

on win XP it doesnt have “set affinity” XD

  18. Neven123 says:

yet i dont have it i am admin though

  19. 1337Elite2 says:

System Shock is a game.. that was just an example. The ability to set the affinity is available in SP2.

Press: CTRL – ALT – Delete (or CTRL – SHIFT – ESC), then go to “Processes (the second tab)”, right-click the procceess, like msnmsg.exe or whatever, then select affinity (the last option, if you’re on another language than english.)

  20. Neven123 says:

    I have SP2 is that y

  21. Neven123 says:

I dont have it do I need a picture????

  22. Exhonour1337 says:

Just check its the same thing on XP

  23. 1337Elite2 says:

It’s exactly the same on XP, yes. If you play System Shock 2, you’ll need to do this, or else it’ll crash.

  24. Neven123 says:

it isnt I have xp home edition I think u can do that on pro not home

  25. Exhonour1337 says:

    Should be the same thing.

  26. Neven123 says:
