Instructor connects U87 microphone and avalon vt737 to protools multicore processor
Video Rating: 5 / 5
This is a short video I made that helped me solve a lot of problems. It explains how to optimize programs performance and FPS when you are running on a multicore processor. This will only work on programs that dont support multicores. Music by: ParagonX9 – download able on newgrounds.com

nope, but there are Usb mics, but you certainly wont get the same quality form a usb Mic as you will with a Nuemann U87 plus an avalon, thats professional studio gear.
Great tutorial. It was really easy to follow. Just a question. Is there an adapter that can go from the microphone cable to a USB? Thanx.
@Exhonour1337 no option like that on xp

Would be easier if you just told us your processor.
hey nice vid but i have one problem i dont have that tab with 4 cpu thing all i have is End Process/End process tree/Debug/ and set priorty. so that means i dont have a multi processer then?
on my XP when i right click on phun.exe it doesnt go to the affinity menu, can some1 help?(my computer was made in 2003)
I want to find this 32 core processor that the windows XP affinity list comes up with… that would be some intense computing…
on win XP it doesnt have “set affinity” XD
yet i dont have it i am admin though
System Shock is a game.. that was just an example. The ability to set the affinity is available in SP2.
Press: CTRL – ALT – Delete (or CTRL – SHIFT – ESC), then go to “Processes (the second tab)”, right-click the procceess, like msnmsg.exe or whatever, then select affinity (the last option, if you’re on another language than english.)
I have SP2 is that y
I dont have it do I need a picture????
Just check its the same thing on XP
It’s exactly the same on XP, yes. If you play System Shock 2, you’ll need to do this, or else it’ll crash.
it isnt I have xp home edition I think u can do that on pro not home
Should be the same thing.
how would you do this on xp?
